By anyone’s standards, Brian Wood had experienced a successful foodservice career running manufacturers and buying groups when on the morning of October 28, 2018 he’d had another pinnacle moment; agreeing to purchase Rabco Foodservice Ltd., a large distributor servicing all of Canada. His celebratory day took an unexpected turn when that same evening, celebrating with his wife by taking in a movie, he had a stroke which left him without feeling on half of his body. But that didn’t take away his love of foodservice or his commitment to fulfill a dream.
